We are all human before we are nationality. 💔

The recent xenophobic attacks happening in South Africa are painful, heartbreaking, and dangerous to the spirit of Ubuntu that once united us. No mother deserves to fear for her child because of where they were born. No person deserves violence for simply trying to survive, work, and provide for their families.

Africa has always stood together through struggle, pain, and liberation. Many African nations opened their doors and hearts to South Africans during apartheid. Today, we cannot repay solidarity with hatred.

Yes, unemployment, crime, and poverty are real problems — but attacking fellow Africans will never solve them. Violence only creates more suffering, more division, and more bloodshed in communities that are already hurting.

We must stop blaming ordinary people for the failures of systems and leadership. The enemy is not the foreign street vendor, the immigrant worker, or the refugee family trying to survive. The enemy is poverty, corruption, inequality, and hopelessness.

South Africa belongs to humanity, not hatred.

Let us choose unity over violence.
Compassion over fear.
Peace over destruction.

Because when one African bleeds, the whole continent feels the pain. 🖤
