Wearing a mask😷 is one of the ways we can protect ourselves from . You should wear a mask to catch the small droplets in the air you create when you cough or sneeze.
With N95 masks in short supply, it is vital to save them for our health workers on the frontline. Wearing cloth masks can provide some protection. If you are not sure when to use your mask, here are some tips:
1. Keep safe: stay two meters away from people and wash your hands with soap and water.
2. Wearing a mask is an extra precaution-just like a car has a seatbelt and an airbag.
3. If you’re in close contact with other people and cannot stay two meters away (e.g. in a taxi) wear a cloth mask
4. Take the mask off whenever you are alone- wearing the mask for a long time makes it damp and it doesn’t work as well.
