Our installation in the Boksburg area
This consists of an 8.8 kVA Sunsynk inverter and 2 off 5kW Sunsynk batteries with 9 500Wp panels giving 4.5kWp solar panels 4.5kW peak power.
The panels were mounted on the second story of the building.

A first for Stepup Energy Systems was the commissioning of an existing 7.5 kW generator for backup in the event of an extended grid outage.
The generator is connected to the Aux input of the inverter.
When the generator is required, all the owner has to do is plug the generator in the outside socket and start it.
If the generator was equipped with auto start and stop, all actions would be automatic under extended grid outages based on predetermined battery SoC levels.
