ROOF SCOOT

Due to the kindness of all who donated to our fundraiser, we are excited to announce that Andrew is almost complete with his process of walking properly on his new prosthetic leg.

A kind donation of a prosthetic leg by Slade and Marlene Blazons, which belonged to Marlene’s late father Gerald Engledow has enabled us to fast track this process. We are able to use most part of the leg only having to replace the foot, the locking liner and the carbon fibre socket with locking mechanism.

This morning a very excited Andrew had his appointment with Anton Visser from Orthotics & Prosthetics in Benoni to take a mould of his stump in order to fit his new prosthetic leg.

It is so heart warming to see how many generous and caring people there are out there, wanting help in any way possible to make someone else’s life a little easier.

A huge thank you to everyone involved for making this happen!!
