Did you know that giraffes can spend up to 80% of their day eating? These gentle giants consume vast amounts of plants to sustain their large bodies. They skillfully reach high into trees for leaves or bend down to nibble on low shrubs. In the wild, mature giraffes can eat up to 66 kg (145 lb) of food daily!
