Hi PeakTeam,

I will be teaching a couple of 1 day courses this weekend for the Alpine Club of Canada, Calgary Section.

Saturday 27 Sep is crevasse rescue review. Review of skills in the morning including rappelling into a crevasse and ascending out. Live practice scenario in the afternoon.

Sunday 28 Sep is intro to white out navigation. Review of maps, grid references, compass, and route planning in the morning. Outdoor practice scenario in the afternoon.

Both events will run in the Exshaw area.

Giuseppe Di Olivieri. Into the alpine we go, to be in the clouds and humbled by natures beauty once again. This one took us out of the Garda area and into the Dolomites. Longer climbing and and some "shorter" views up in the clouds. None the less this was an incredible experience and I cant wait to go back and explore the area more.
