President Kiir meets President Museveni to strengthen bilateral cooperation

President Salva Kiir Mayardit held talks with Uganda’s President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni in Entebbe on May 11, 2026, focusing on strengthening bilateral relations between South Sudan and Uganda.

The discussions centered on enhancing political and economic cooperation, regional peace and security, as well as advancing joint infrastructure, border security, and energy connectivity projects.

Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to continued partnership in promoting stability and development in the region.

A young man who is a car washer was given the car keys to reposition the car after washing and lost control while driving, knocking the bodaboda rider off his motorcycle and causing injuries.
