🧑‍🎨 Let’s meet Gilbert Baker, a San Francisco artist and gay rights activist! He is renowned for the invaluable gift he presented to the community, the rainbow flag, which was first displayed at 1978’s Gay Freedom Parade.

🌈 But why is it a rainbow? Baker once shared that he wanted to create a symbol that brought joy and strength. And each color on the flag carried its own meaning, representing a multi-faceted lens for the community.

💖👑 To this day, Gilbert Baker’s contributions to the LGBTQ+ movements are still remembered in the community every time we see those rainbow colours flying!

🧑‍🎨 Gilbert Baker là một nghệ sĩ kiêm nhà hoạt động vì quyền LGBTQ+ tại San Francisco. Ông nổi tiếng với đóng góp vô giá của ông cho cộng đồng: lá cờ cầu vồng, lần đầu tiên xuất hiện tại Gay Freedom Parade năm 1978.

🌈 Nhưng tại sao lại là cầu vồng? Baker từng chia sẻ rằng ông muốn tạo ra một biểu tượng mang lại niềm vui và sức mạnh. Đồng thời, mỗi màu sắc trên lá cờ đều mang một ý nghĩa riêng, đại diện cho những góc nhìn đa sắc thái của cộng đồng chúng ta.
