Not only have my senior students fought really hard and well during their IB, Alevel and IGCSE Maths exams, the junior ones have also started to cultivate these traits in their work. Special mention to those who have climbed sets in the past term—one of you even jumped two sets!
Enjoy the moment, breathe in that sweet air of microvictory, and remember to keep the fighting spirit alive as you go further in life!

When you start from a low base, don't get discouraged. With effort and determination, your progress may take you to great heights!

Students at Math in Action set out from various starting points, with different abilities. But each of them has put in their best, investing their time and energy, and journeyed through their learning.

And with a little bit of luck, their work paid off. One of them started from 17% to score 94% for their final result; that's a nearly sixfold rise. Another one got 5% at first, but in the final exam got 71%; that's up by a record 14 times!

But final scores are not all that matters. A* or otherwise, what is most precious is the joy we get from learning, be it alone or together with friends. The score is but numbers on paper. The learning journey, the stress and the tears, the sleepless nights, the mistakes we made and the smiles on our faces in the end, all that makes us who we are.

Congratulations to each and every one of you, and let's get ready for another year full of action!
