Final medal count for OECS 33🏅

Here’s how the 398 medals were won by the 8 participating teams⤴️

• Team St Lucia🇱🇨 walked away with the most gold medals (45)🥇

• Team SVG🇻🇨 claimed the most silver (38) and bronze (40) medals🥈🥉

• Team St Lucia🇱🇨 and Team SVG🇻🇨 tied for most total medals (99)

The curtains came down on OECS 33 with a bang, as the team of Wuilliez, Sindhi, Stubbs-Greene, and Mitchell left their rivals in the bubbles with a 1:33.01 - obliterating the previous best mark to win the Boys 15 & Over 200m Freestyle Relay🥇

The St Lucians🇱🇨🥈 edged the Vincentians🇻🇨🥉 for the second spot.

Jadon Wuilliez swam the first ever sub-50 in the 100m Freestyle at the OECS Swimming Championships, with a 49.57🇦🇬🥇

His teammate, Stefano Mitchell touched with a time of 50.49 to secure his silver medal 🇦🇬🥈, and Grenada’s Zackary Gresham followed to capture the bronze medal🇬🇩🥉

With a time of 51.05, Antoine Destang broke the Boys 15-17 100m Freestyle record, adding another gold medal and honour to his collection🇱🇨🥇

Ethan Stubbs-Greene followed just 0.05 seconds behind to capture the silver🇦🇬🥈, and Matthew Ballah claimed the bronze🇻🇨🥉
