A thoughtful close to an intense few days: Following Demo Day and the Central Asia Venture Conference, hosted a cultural programme and dinner that brought founders, VCs, business angels, and our wider community together in a more relaxed setting.

Conversations flowed more freely, new connections formed, and the cohort had the chance to engage with investors beyond the stage and the agenda. A generous gesture by UzVC and a meaningful way to round off the programme.

As Laura puts it, “Our North Star is to provide access to development for one million children within three years, while maintaining a $100 per child annual margin. We’re an experienced team that knows how to build and scale both B2C and B2B startups.”

Because every child’s path is different, and finding what works shouldn’t be a full-time job.

UzVC Milliy venchur fondi Sturgeon Capital kompaniyasi bilan hamkorlikda o‘zining to‘rtinchi startapini 100 000 AQSh dollari miqdorida boshlang’ich bosqichda moliyalashtirdi. Startap 1 250 000 AQSh dollariga baholanib, bunda fond 8% ulushiga ega bo’ldi.

Modme mahsulotlari yordamida o‘quv markazini boshqarish ancha osonlashadi, talabalar va ularning ota-onalari esa oddiy ilovadagi shaxsiy kabineti orqali barcha kerakli ma’lumotlarni osongina olishlari mumkin bo‘ladi!

Национальный венчурный фонд UzVC в партнёрстве с управляющей компанией Sturgeon Capital профинансировал свой четвёртый стартап чеком на 100 000 долларов США в посевном раунде. Стартап оценен в 1 250 000 долларов США, таким образом фонд получил долю в 8%.

Портфель Фонда пополнился ещё одним уникальным стартапом: Modme – Edtech SaaS платформа для онлайн автоматизации учебных центров. Основатели стартапа, будучи уже владельцами учебных центров, воплотили в реальность идею гибридного формата обучения и контроля в учебных центрах. С помощью продукции Modme управлять учебным центром станет намного легче, а обучающиеся и их родители смогут без всяких затруднений брать всю необходимую информацию через личный кабинет в простом приложении!

Ранее UzVC объявлял о старте приёма заявок от стартапов для совместного финансирования с управляющей компанией Sturgeon Capital и по сей день инвестировал в 3 стартапа: TASS Vision, Sug’urta Bozor и zypl.ai.

UzVC National Venture Capital Fund, in partnership with Sturgeon Capital, has funded its fourth startup with a $100,000 seed round check. The startup is valued at $1,250,000, giving the fund an 8% stake.

The Fund's portfolio was replenished with another unique startup: Modme - Edtech SaaS platform for online automation of training centers. The founders of the startup, who are already owners of training centers, made the idea of a hybrid format of training and control in training centers a reality. With the help of Modme products, it will become much easier to manage a training center, whilst students and their parents will be able to easily take all the necessary information through their personal account in a simple mobile app!

Earlier, UzVC with its management company Sturgeon Capital announced the start of accepting applications from startups for financing and to date has invested in 3 startups: TASS Vision, Sug'urta Bozor and zypl.ai.

UzVC team was delighted to meet Ambassadors of Uzbekistan in foreign countries at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today.

The main purpose of the meeting was to familiarize Ambassadors with UzVC’s activities and plans with internationally recognized VC funds and organizations.

At first, Mr. Ambassador Alisher Shaykhov, Chief Adviser to UzVC, highlighted the main activities and achievements of UzVC since its establishment. The main focus was given to Master Classes for VC funds and business angels on 2-4 November, 2021, expansion of portfolio by 3 companies, the launch of Startup Growth Program in 16th November of this year. Then, the strategic plans on improvement of VC ecosystem were also mentioned.

Ambassadors expressed their willingness to assist UzVC at establishing connections with VC funds and other related organizations to increase the capacity of abovementioned plans.

Сегодня команда UzVC была рада встретиться с Послами Узбекистана в зарубежных странах в Министерстве иностранных дел.

Основной целью встречи было ознакомление Послов с деятельностью и планами UzVC с известными фондами и организациями венчурной сферы.

Вначале г-н посол Алишер Шайхов, старший советник UzVC, рассказал об основных направлениях деятельности и достижениях UzVC с момента его создания. Основное внимание было уделено мастер-классам для венчурных фондов и бизнес-ангелов 2-4 ноября 2021 года, расширению портфеля на 3 компании, запуску Startup Growth Program 16 ноября текущего года. Затем были упомянуты и стратегические планы по улучшению венчурной экосистемы в стране.

Послы выразили готовность помочь UzVC в установлении связей с венчурными фондами и другими соответствующими организациями для повышения потенциала вышеупомянутых планов.

Bugun UzVC jamoasi O‘zbekistonning xorijiy davlatlardagi elchilari bilan Tashqi ishlar vazirligida uchrashishdan mamnun bo‘ldi.

Uchrashuvdan ko‘zlangan asosiy maqsad elchilarni UzVC faoliyati va taniqli fondlar va venchur kapital tashkilotlari bilan tuzgan rejalari bilan tanishtirish edi.

Dastlab, UzVC ning katta maslahatchisi janob Elchi Alisher Shayxov so‘zga chiqib, UzVC asosiy faoliyati va tashkil etilganidan buyon erishgan yutuqlari haqida gapirdi. Asosiy e’tibor 2021-yil 2-4-noyabr kunlari venchur fondlar va biznes angellar uchun mahorat darslari, portfelni 3 ta kompaniya bilan kengaytirilishi, joriy yilning 16-noyabrida Startup Growth dasturi ishga tushirilishiga qaratildi. Keyin venchur ekosistemasini yaxshilash bo'yicha strategik rejalar haqida ham aytib o’tdi.

Elchilar yuqoridagi rejalar salohiyatini oshirish uchun venchur fondlar va boshqa tegishli tashkilotlar bilan aloqalarni yo'lga qo'yishda UzVCga yordam berishga tayyor ekanliklarini bildirdilar.
