Last Saturday (the 6th) was one for the books! From summer reading fun to games, laughter, and plenty of splashes at the dunk tank, we had an amazing time kicking off Summer Reading with our community. A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to join the fun and a special shoutout to our brave dunk tank volunteers who took the plunge 😄👏

Need a break from endless scrolling? 📱➡️📦 Our June Brain Rot Boxes are here. Designed for TEENS (6th - 12th grade), these kits are packed with fun activities to help you unplug, get creative, and spend a little less time doomscrolling.

Pick up your Brain Rot Box from the Sandbox before the end of June while supplies last. Don't miss out!

Kids Café / Summer Lunch at the Library is back 🍎🥪

Thanks to the Northern Illinois Food Bank , free lunches are available for children and teens (18 AND UNDER) from June 15 through August 13, every weekday Monday–Thursday, 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM.

📍 Please note: The library is closed Fridays
❌ No lunch will be served on July 1st or August 5th

Gracias al Northern Illinois Food Bank, se ofrecen almuerzos gratuitos para niños y adolescentes (DE HASTA 18 AÑOS) cel 15 de junio hasta el 13 de agosto, de lunes a jueves, en horario de 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM.

📍 Nota importante: La biblioteca permanece cerrada los viernes.
❌ No se servirá almuerzo el 1 de julio ni el 5 de agosto.
