I love sharing different, creative ways to play with favorite toys, especially open-ended ones. Here are some ways I have incorporated Lego into our homeschool days, yoga parties, and classes I've taught!
1. For older kids, a build challenge! You can see the challenge on our website but essentially, give a few parameters and set a stop-watch. Whoever meets the requirements first, gets to be the Lead Architect and they set the next challenge!
2. Lego stamps. Press lego tops into inkpads to make art. You could focus on making it monochrome, or delve into abstract art...the possibilities are endless.
3. Word prompt. Write a word of picture on a sticky tab and place it on the bottom of the Lego. Pick it up and tell/write/act out what you see!
