Willow Run Riveters

Hi! My name is Lily Pattee and I am the Treasurer of Women in Aviation Willow Run Riveters Chapter. I am currently a junior at EMU studying aviation management and flight training out of Livingston. Aviation is a relatively new passion of mine, forming two years ago when I changed majors from medicine to aviation management. My goal is to become a medevac pilot, working with hospitals and medical facilities to transport patients and medical personnel to where they are needed. It is the perfect job for combining my interests in both the medical field as well as aviation. I am incredibly excited to be a part of WAI and create valuable connections with my peers that will be of great value later in my career.

Hi there! My name is Morgan Butera and I am the Vice President of the Willow Run Riveters! I got into Aviation at a young age by flying with my grandparents who are both GA pilots. I am a graduate of EMU and have degrees in Aviation and Criminal Justice. Last summer, I had the opportunity to intern with the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) Investigating aircraft Accidents and Incidents. It was an amazing way to combine my love for both Aviation and Law Enforcement. I currently work at PSA Airlines as an SMS Safety Specialist. I would not have gotten to where I am today without networking. I have done most of my networking through Women in Aviation and have a blast doing it too!
