At Project Healing Waters, we’re here for every Veteran needing help and support, whether your wounds are visible or not, whether you served one tour or twenty.

Healing doesn’t come with qualifications. And neither does this program.

A Year Goes By... But the Mission Never Changes. 🇺🇸🎣

This photo was taken around this time last year, and looking back reminds us just how much can change in a year.

We've welcomed new veterans into our program. Some participants have moved on to new chapters in their lives. We've seen changes in program leadership and have been fortunate to add new volunteers who continue to strengthen our team. Through it all, one thing has remained constant—our commitment to serving veterans through the healing power of fly fishing.

Every Tuesday evening, friendships are strengthened around the fly tying tables as participants learn new skills, share stories, and prepare for the next adventure. Our fly tying curriculum is designed with purpose, introducing patterns that match the seasons, local hatches, and the waters we'll soon be fishing together.

Over the next couple of months, we're looking forward to several exciting outings where our participants will have the opportunity to fish local streams alongside our dedicated volunteers—using flies they tied with their own hands.

It's amazing what can happen in a year. We can't wait to see what the next one brings.
