Our project has officially begun! Bailey the Pup is checking out the porch, soon to be turned into a dining room that seats 16 with a fabulous view of the creek.

The goal is to take the semi-newish and transform it into a cozy, campy, Lowcountry-inspired vacation spot with a 1930s beach house vibe.

Meetings with contractors have started the ball rolling so stay tuned for more updates. ⚓️

We’re breaking down twenty project bedrooms that we designed for clients, all with different looks but the same goal - comfortable, stylish sleeping spaces that reflect the home’s overall look.

Today is Room No. 10 - the Gothic Farmhouse Main Bedroom. The details:

✔️ Function: Large room with separate office area, access to poolside porch. King bed, nightstands with storage and large dresser needed.

✔️ Look: Serene, traditional, sunny, light

✔️ Mood: Relaxing, soothing, grounded

✔️ Style: Calming Classic

✔️ Must haves: King bed with upholstered, shaped headboard, nightstands with storage, desk and seating area in office area, serene color scheme

✔️ Notable items: Shaped headboard with textured fabric and nail heads, subtle wool rug, soft blue animal print bench, walnut nightstands. Nature-inspired drapery fabric.
