And that's not all... another skid is expected by Friday, which means we'll have received SEVEN skids of fall inventory in one week! πŸ‚πŸ“¦

I spent all day making room in the garage (wish me luck πŸ˜‚), and now I'm finally home to tuck Haysley into bed before another crazy day begins.

Tomorrow is going to be SO much fun! Stay tuned as we unload, unpack, and start sharing all the amazing new fall goodies with you. You won't want to miss it! 🧑🍁

I've had several people ask why I don't carry as much Amish furniture as I used to, and I always want to be honest with you all.

For years, I bought much of my furniture from a local craftsman who, unfortunately, went out of business. He simply couldn't make a living charging the prices he was charging, and he didn't want to raise them. Since then, finding quality Amish furniture at a price that makes sense for both me and my customers has become incredibly difficult.

If you're from York County, you know exactly what I mean. There is beautiful Amish furniture throughout Lancaster County, but the prices have changed dramatically. From a business standpoint, it's hard to invest $10,000 or more into maybe 5 pieces of furniture that may sit for months when that same investment allows me to bring in hundreds and thousands of smaller pieces that more people can enjoy.

But there is another reason my business has changed.

A few years ago, I became a mom.

My priorities shifted, my schedule became wonderfully chaotic, and somewhere in the middle of raising Haysley, K&K started growing in ways I never imagined. One year ago, we launched our website. Looking back today, our online business has done more in one year than all of my booths combined. That's absolutely mind-blowing to me.

I've learned that sometimes growth means letting go of the idea that your business has to look the way it always has. It means following where your customers are, adjusting when the market changes, and building a business that works for this season of life.

Do I still love Amish furniture? Absolutely. If I find unique pieces at the right price, I'll always bring them in. But today, K&K looks a little different than it did five years ago, and honestly... that's okay.

This business has grown alongside me. It has seen me go from a young woman with a dream, to a wife, to a mom, and now to someone running a business that reaches customers all across the country. None of that would have happened without you.

Whether you've bought a piece of furniture, a little primitive shelf sitter, placed an online order, shared a post, or simply cheered me on from the sidelines, thank you. Every order, every comment, and every ounce of support has helped make K&K what it is today.

I may not always carry the same products I once did, but one thing will never changeβ€”I will always do my best to bring you beautiful, quality pieces while staying true to my family, my customers, and this dream you've helped me build. ❀️

A picture of my why- Haysley has princess dance camp this week. Do you think I would miss a chance at picking her up or dropping her off and the stories. No way!
