One of the best parts of being at Central Market York is welcoming the many daycare groups that visit the market each week.

We absolutely love when our little friends stop by to explore fresh fruits, learn about healthy foods, and add a fun and nutritious experience to their market trip. Whether they are tasting something new, touching fruits they may have never seen before, or taking home a healthy treat, these visits are always a highlight of our week.

This week, our friends from surprised us with a beautiful hanging strawberry plant as a thank-you gift. We were truly touched by their thoughtfulness and generosity.

We are incredibly grateful to the teachers and staff who work so hard to introduce children to fresh fruits, vegetables, and healthy habits at such an important age. Your efforts are helping to raise a healthier generation, and we are honored to play a small role in that journey.

This past week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Sohnleitner to Sweet Roots Juice Company.
Myi-Angel, one of William Penn Senior High School’s most talented and accomplished students, recently created a custom straw holder for our stand as part of an art show and then used her incredible artistic skills to hand-paint our display chalkboard with beautiful original artwork.
As she prepares to graduate and continue her journey at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania, we want to recognize her creativity, hard work, and the bright future ahead.
