Today is Arts Advocacy Day and this year, the ecosystem that has made the arts and culture
community thrive in Pennsylvania is under threat. In the last year, , now Pennsylvania Creative
Industries (PCI) introduced a new 'strategic framework' that severely decreases and in most cases completely eliminates funding for arts education, flok arts, preserving cultures & support for 70% of our states small to medium size arts organizations. We need to ensure ALL Pennsylvanians have access to the arts to keep Pennsylvania, vibrant, beautiful, and ahead of the curve in just about every sector (because the arts do just that).
