We've officially made it an entire week into the new year! 2024 was certainly NOT our year but let's hope 2025 treats us better! Dec was just absolutely slammed for us, business and personal, and I took a much needed step back from social media during that time but I am feeling better and wanted to pop in and say thank you so very much to every single one of you that supported my small business this holiday season! 2024 was incredibly hard for all small businesses, and it was my slowest year ever. Open for over 4 years and for the first time in that span, I had to think about closing up shop. I decided to stay through Dec to see how things went and give my dream a fighting chance. I'm so glad I did. I had a huge burst of orders start the last week of Nov after spooky season, usually my busiest time of year, had only crickets. I didn't expect a Christmas rush and I am so grateful for all of you who saved us this season and gave me hope that maybe things will pick back up again.

It was a busy Dec fulfilling orders, spending 2 weeks with out of town family, but it was also a sad Dec. This was our first Christmas without our Rudy, our "firstborn" pup who passed in Jan. 2024 was just a really really bad year for us all around. I took the slow year to take a step back a little and focus on myself and my health, I had some debilitating flare ups from my chronic illness this past year and I was struggling to take care of myself, the business, and maintain my personal life all at once. So I guess the slow year was a bit of a blessing in disguise, but I also missed how busy the business used to keep me. I thoroughly enjoy what I do, and I hope to continue through 2025 bringing you all the unique, weird, beautiful handmade pieces you guys love! I'm taking these next couple weeks to get reorganized, rested, and prepared for the rest of this year and hopefully things get back to normal.
