The York JCC’s Center for Learn and Play invites young innovators to our Game Design & Creation Mini Camp.

• Ages: 8 – 12
• Instructor: Miss Ashley, Certified Art Therapist
What to Expect:
Join Miss Ashley for a hands-on experience that empowers young minds to unleash their creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. This camp is a captivating journey into the world of designing games, specifically tailored for youth innovators.
Miss Ashley uses her specialized background to create an inclusive, supportive environment where mistakes are just part of the design process, building true confidence alongside technical skills.

On the left is her son, Jett! Jett literally grew up in our hallways, starting in our ECE program and attending countless activities here. Fast forward to today: Jett is officially a York JCC employee, joining our team in the Youth Lounge! 🎉
We love seeing our JCC kids grow up to become the next generation of leaders right where it all started.

⚡ Gotta Catch 'Em All: Pokémon Movement Party Mini-Camp! ⚡
Is your little trainer ready to level up their summer? Join Miss Holly at the York JCC’s Center for Learn and Play for an action-packed week where Pokémon meets high-energy fun!
Our Pokémon Movement Party Mini-Camp is designed to get kids moving by pairing their favorite pocket monsters with exciting exercise games. Using inclusive, supportive ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) principles, we create an environment where every child can thrive.
🎉 What Your Trainer Will Do:
• Power Up with Movement: Smash fitness goals through active, Pokémon-themed games and challenges.
• Earn Real Rewards: Complete fun activities to score access to Pokémon cards!
• Build Social Skills: Practice valuable sharing, communication, and teamwork skills during our daily card-trading sessions.
The Details:
• Ages: 5 – 9
• Dates: June 22 – 26, 2026
• Time: 9 - 10 AM at the York JCC
• Cost: $115 for JCC Members | $155 for Non-Members
