This is one of my child’s school lunches. It looks about the same every single day. And there’s nothing wrong with that.

It’s important to honor the need for predictability with food, regardless of a persons age. The “right” kind of bread, creamy peanut butter, crust-less, each compartment has its purpose. The figurines make the lunch more playful.

Our society puts too much emphasis on variety. This lunch offers sources of all macronutrients and can be eaten every day without question. Eating enough, daily, is what matters most. I invite you to let go of the “shoulds” and just do what works for YOU.
