“My Grandma Thelma is still very present in this work. My mother, many years ago, passed on the unfinished patchwork pieces by my Grandma, to me.
They now inspire several works on the go and who knows what else to come. She was a strong , powerful, highly organised professional woman of her time. My great Grandma and her owned several pubs around Victoria and in Melbourne. They would have whipped those men into shape in the bar.
She was definitely a feminist of her time.”

Weave

I don’t know if you remember awhile back I shared @boomloomstudio mini loom - they have created a new design with removable heddles that create different weave patterns. It was so easy to use and for someone like me who isn’t an experienced weaver I found it so helpful to create patterns.
