Some of the best days are the most tiring. We spent the day with the staff shooting some footage and preparing for the summer. What a great day with And Jason Richards! We really missed you, !

Funny story about these gorgeous shoes...⠀

These beautiful Kate Spade shoes are the first thing this Bride bought for her Wedding Day after she was engaged! For about 9 months they sat in a box waiting for THE day! So that day came and it was time to shine! In the box, there were pieces of foam to keep the bows intact. I pulled the shoes out of the box and proceeded to take the foam out of the bows for photos. My husband, who was second shooting with me, overheard one of the bridesmaids say to another bridesmaid in a hushed voice, "Oh no, she's plucking out the foam!" He came over to me and relayed the message he had overheard. I promptly went straight to the bride, who I have known for a long time and asked if that had been her wish to pluck the foam from the shoes! Well, by-golly, it was! She had waited 9 months to pluck the foam from those shoes. So, I did what any good friend/photographer would do, I pushed that foam back into those bows and let the Bride pluck it out!! :) Lesson learned. Don't pluck the foam out of the Bride's shoes!⠀

I had the privilege of taking photos for a local Elementary School Father/Daughter Dance! I could not handle the love and cuteness of these fathers with their precious daughters!

Noah's Event Center is such a beautiful venue! It's great for those hot summer days when you still want lots of natural light but not the sweat!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
