THIS WEEK...ARARAT ST BRIDGE WORK AND DETOUR.

INFO to be aware of. Please take note of work being done at the filtration plant. Pass it along, please.

**UPDATE**
Mass DOT expects the detour to be implemented in approx. 2 weeks (it may get moved back a week or two).

Work is expected to be completed by years end.

ARARAT ST OVERPASS(I-190) CONSTRUCTION:

I was able to get some info from one of the engineers at MASS DOT as to what will take place here.

-The scope of the work: New bridge deck and approaches.
-Westbound traffic, at this time will stay open for now, may be some night work on the under structure.
-East bound will be closed and detoured down frontage road and around to access going east on Ararat St towards Brook St.
-Mostly day work

The concrete deck is being replaced as are the approaches, as we know, they need it. I am awaiting start date and how long they anticipate this work taking to complete. I will get back to you.
