Did you know that ages 3 to 6 are the most critical years for brain development? 🧠🌱
Dr. Maria Montessori called this phase the "Absorbent Mind." Children at this age soak up language like little sponges! But to turn that language into reading, they need the right environment.
At T.E.C., early literacy is built on joy and confidence.
Instead of forcing a whole class to read at the same time, our teachers work one-on-one with each child. If your 4-year-old is ready to build words with our Movable Alphabet, we let them soar! If they need more time feeling the shapes of letters and listening to stories, we give them that space.
When children are allowed to learn at their own pace, reading becomes a reward, not a requirement. 📚✨
Give your child the gift of confidence and a lifelong love of learning. Are you wondering if your preschooler is ready for T.E.C.? We would love to meet you! Click here to schedule a visit: thetecschools.com

Did you hear? We had a wedding at recess! 🎩👗🦎
Our students love our pet bearded dragon, Marvin, so much that they made a puppet version of him. When puppet Maya was introduced, the students decided they needed to get married!
The whole school (ages 3-14) got involved. From blowing up balloons and creating the altar to dressing up in their Sunday best, the joy and anticipation were off the charts. Stay tuned for more photos of the happiest day of the school year!

Real Science Doesn't Happen on a Worksheet. 🔬
In traditional education, middle school science often consists of memorizing vocabulary words from a textbook and bubbling in answers on a Friday test. Then, we wonder why adolescents lose their natural curiosity about how the world works.
At T.E.C., we take a different approach. We treat young adults as individuals completely capable of doing real, meaningful work.
Today, that approach speaks for itself. We are thrilled to announce that our Middle School students have been accepted into the Regional Science Fair and will be presenting their independent STEAM projects at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI).
They didn't earn this opportunity by passively consuming information. They earned it through the messy, frustrating, and ultimately exhilarating process of actual scientific inquiry. They identified real-world problems, engineered physical solutions, tested their hypotheses, and defended their results.
When we give adolescents the freedom to pursue genuine intellectual interests—and hold them to real-world standards—they don't just meet our expectations. They far exceed what the traditional system assumes they can do.
Congratulations to our Middle Schoolers. When you step onto the campus at WPI, remember: you aren't just "studying" science. You are scientists.
