Today, we honor Juneteenth and the enduring truth that survivors’ voices are part of the legacy of freedom.
We recognize the strength, resilience, and leadership of Black survivors whose voices have challenged silence, demanded justice, and helped create pathways toward healing for generations.
Freedom is more than the absence of chains.
It is the presence of safety.
Of voice.
Of community.
Of the ability to heal.
Today and every day, we remain committed to building a future rooted in racial justice, compassion, and survivor-centered advocacy.
Black Heritage Juneteenth Festival is at 12 noon on Saturday for the 2026 More info can be found here: https://www.blackheritagejuneteenthworcester.com/

Everyone deserves to celebrate, gather, and enjoy community events safely.

⚽ Community celebration and community safety hand in hand.
Large sporting events can bring joy, connection, and excitement — but crowded spaces, alcohol, and “anything goes” attitudes can also create environments where aggressive or harmful behavior is minimized or ignored.
That’s why consent, respect, and looking out for one another matter at every watch party, bar, gathering, and public event.
Everyone deserves to enjoy community events without harassment, pressure, or fear.
Let’s make Worcester known not only for enthusiasm and pride — but for caring for one another too. 💙
