MA 4-H SET

On Tuesday Explore UMass participants did tours across campus including the permaculture garden at Franklin Dining Commons. They learned about the vision to transform a grassy area to a serene place with vegetables, fruit and nuts. Along with composting there is a bio digester that produces gas to cook the occasional pancake breakfast and experimentation like using wool as mulch.
