Meet Tanya Pierre who led the survivor lap at this year’s UMass Cancer Walk.

After being diagnosed with breast cancer, Tanya experienced firsthand the life-changing impact of innovative cancer research.

Following four surgeries and now in remission, Tanya is deeply grateful for the exceptional care and access to effective treatments she received. She also recognizes that many types of cancer still lack viable treatment options and that continued support for research is essential.
