This past Thursday, the Main South CDC and the Main South Business Association were pleased to host the groundbreaking ceremony for the “807 Main Street Affordable Commercial Condominiums Project”. We appreciated City Manager Eric Batista’s presence at the event as well as Mass Development President Dan O’Connell’s attendance and comments. Even though temperatures hovered around 100 degrees Fahrenheit, the local business community turned out in force to support the event. The project will be completed in March 2025 and provide local business owners the opportunity to own their own premises at affordable prices.

We are honored to announce that the Main South CDC will be receiving the Excellence Award in Racial Equity and Inclusion in the annual Massachusetts Housing Investment Corporation Awards Ceremony this week. This award is in recognition of our commitment to creating access and opportunities for workers of color and businesses owned by people of color during the construction of our 92 Grand Street project.
