Did you know UMass Memorial Health has its own Center for Mindfulness (CFM) which began at UMass Memorial Medical Center in the 1970s by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn?

Our CFM offers programs for all caregivers and patients and teaches participants how to develop the awareness that arises from paying attention, on purpose, in the present moment and without judgment. By practicing mindfulness, caregivers can develop their ability to use their mental capacities to help reduce errors and provide safe, high-quality care.
