Vincent's plastering

I think I might get my little Colorado truck across this

alot of peaple don't realize the difference between drywall & plastering,if u call a plasterer , veneer board is required and the hole Wall or ceiling has a smooth 1/8 finish over hole Wall or ceiling , materials & labor are pretty much same price , plastering is better insulation ,dry wall has a finish with board is still showing,they just do the tapes and screws & rest of board is still showing & the board board gets painted it requires sanding unlike plastering ,most contractors try to do drywall them self , dry wall seems often crack & u can often see the seems, down south is mostly drywall unless it's a high end house , plastering is done in most all new construction in the north east because of cold weather,it takes many years to become a good plasterer ,& can secure and plaster over old horse hair. Dry wall in mass , mostly done in commercial buildings ,just want to give peaple knowledge ,u if going to purchase and install board your self get blue board or veneer board if going to call a plasterer it is to different applications ,,the picture I show is a room that had hors hair repair, the trim is often very nice & old the wall around the door ,is finished the other wall had extensive damage were had to take part of loose horse hair down

Cieling was wicked crooked tried straightened it was hung over existing ceiling
