I’m really glad I got the chance to fly Spirit and actually document it. For the last couple years, they quietly built something pretty solid. That “premium economy” setup with the blocked middle seat was one of the best values in the sky, and their crews were consistently some of the friendliest I’ve dealt with.
I flew them three more times after this first trip (video in the comments), and every time was genuinely good. No chaos, no horror stories. Just solid travel and good people.
Tough day for a lot of really good people who made that experience happen, and for the customers who actually understood the value they were offering. Hoping those crews land somewhere that treats them even better.

Took a short break from travel videos to work on the thing that pays for travel videos.
Back editing again.
This one: A cruise Americans can’t book… that somehow ended up being one of the best trips we’ve taken.
Norway fjords, you can book it for under $1,000 with a VPN, and enjoy a very British experience.

FINAL WARNING: THE AMEX PLATINUM HEIST 🚨
Alright, my friends. Listen up! It is almost 2026.
This card has a ridiculous $895 annual fee. The only way it makes sense is if we bleed them dry for every single credit they offer.
Right now, it's Free Money Season. The clock is ticking, and on December 31st, a pile of cash disappears forever. This is your final "Use it or Lose it" warning.
THE "USE IT OR LOSE IT" CHECKLIST (DEADLINE: DEC 31st)
This is the money that vanishes at midnight. No excuses.
✈️ $200 Airline Fee Credit: Use this for baggage fees, seat selection, or a lounge day pass. Don't leave this on the table.
🛍️ $100 Saks Credit: You get $50 for the second half of the year. If you haven't used it, go buy some fancy socks online right now for $50 or more. It's free.
🚗 $200 Uber Cash: You get $15/month, but December is a $35 bonus. This expires at midnight on the 31st. Use it for rides or Uber Eats. Order a pizza. Do not give it back to them.
THE "ALWAYS ON" ARSENAL (Your Year-Round Value)
This is the rest of the loot you should be grabbing.
📺 $240 Digital Entertainment Credit ($20/month for Disney+/Hulu/Peacock, etc.)
🏨 $200 Fine Hotels & Resorts Credit (for prepaid bookings)
🚀 $189 CLEAR Plus Credit (covers the whole membership)
🛒 $155 Walmart+ Credit (covers the monthly fee)
🌎 $100 Global Entry / $85 TSA PreCheck Credit
You have already paid the annual fee. That money is gone. This is Amex's money now, and your job is to take it back. Don't let the calendar rob you.
What's the best thing you've bought with your credits this year? Drop the intel in the comments.

There are two types of people in this world: those who get free money and points for their online shopping, and those who are choosing to overpay.
If you're not using Rakuten, you're just leaving money on the table. Period.
Here’s my proof: my latest quarterly payout. That's $66.47 or 6,647 Amex points that I got back for doing absolutely nothing extra.
That's enough points for a one-way flight to London on Virgin Atlantic (minus those damn taxes, of course).
"So how does it actually work?"
It's ridiculously simple.
You install a little extension in your web browser.
When you shop on a site like Hertz, Marriott, Ulta Beauty, Lulumemon, booking.com, or thousands of others, a little box pops up and says, "Want 8% cash back?"
You click one button. That's it. You're done.
On your phone, you just shop through their app. Same deal.
Still on the fence? Let's make it a no-brainer.
Use my sign-up link and Rakuten will give you an extra $50 back after your first purchase of $50 or more. It's literally free money for something you were going to buy anyway.
My link is in the first comment below. Stop overpaying for your life.

booked us a wild ride—summer bobsledding with wheels! 🛷
Way more intense than it looked (seriously, we hit some Gs), but such a blast.
And yes… we even got official certificates at the end. 😂🏅
