River Ridge Knights Track and Field

Girls 4x200 finished 7th of Amedee, Lee, Long,and Gayle and 100h Gayle 4th at state meet. Disappointing elements on the boys side but as a team we will learn from it and be back next year. Season 30 as a head track coach is a wrap. Seniors you will never be replaced! I love you all.

State finals tomorrow with boys 4x400 and girls and boys 4x200 and 100h. All school records have been broken in these events. How fast can we go!

Great day at sectionals! On to state with a girls in LJ/ TJ, shot, 800, 100h and 4x200, boys in 400, 4x2,4x4! On to Rome next week.

Region was a success with 6 of 8 relay teams advancing along with 2 in TJ , 800 and 1 in shot, LJ, 200,400, 100h. They are in the top 32 in Ga. Now sectionals at the Ridge next Sat to become a top 16 in the state.
