Prince William County Fire & Rescue System

🎉Congratulations to OWL Member Avery Wise for completing the Prince William County Fire & Rescue System Operational Medical Director’s (OMD) requirements to serve as an endorsed provider.

EMT Wise joined OWL as a Junior Member in October 2024. Last year, he earned both the Virginia State EMT-Basic and National Registry of EMTs (NREMT) certifications. Upon turning 18 in November, his status was changed to Active Operational member.

His interest in EMS was piqued while serving as a lifeguard. A friend encouraged him to join OWL to pursue becoming an EMT.

EMT Wise recently graduated from Logos Classical Academy. Over the summer, he plans to continue training to become a Lead EMT and Ambulance driver, before taking leave to attend the Fall Semester of college.
