Our friends at New England Base Camp are having a movie being shot on Unquity Rd. If you are planning on visiting Base Camp today, please read the note below!

Please be aware that Unquity Rd will be closed today March 4th for a movie shoot. from 9am until 3, and then 6:30 to 10pm. If you are planning to come to New England Base Camp, it has been recommended that you come via Harland Street.

The Base Camp Scout Shop has extended their hours today until 6:00pm.

Let’s meet our panelists!

Alison Batey (she/her) is the General Manager of New England Base Camp, Base Camp Express. Alison has spent her entire adult life working with kids and teenagers. From teaching at the RSEC Academy to running inclusive summer camps with the Boy Scouts of America, Alison supports young and middle-aged kids as they learn to become independent, productive members of the community.

Using the scouting curriculum, Alison opened interactive programs where families can come and enjoy the adventures of scouting together. She created three volunteer resource groups (VRG’s) around scouting, including a women’s group, a special needs group, and an + Scouts and Allies group.

Alison is a leader, an organizer, and an advocate. We are thrilled to have her speak at our event on 11/16. Learn more and register for this session today.
