Mastery Monday!
Tackling Giants.
Although the story of David and Goliath can be motivating as we observe the little guy conquer the giant, there are three important lessons to be acknowledged:
1. It shouldn't have been necessary. Someone failed to identify and correct the ever-growing problem.
2. While others sat around moping in regret, it took a guy who had first conquered the lion and then a bear to have the courage to conquer the giant.
3. David brought 5 stones—because Goliath is actually known to have brothers and David wasn't going to stop at tackling just 1 giant that day if he had the chance to do more.

So, as we are one month into this new year, it is important to pause long enough to identify and correct the small issues. It not only prevents them from getting larger, but also develops the skill and resilience to tackle bigger issues. That way we aren't the guy at the end of the calendar year swimming in regrets.

It's the first full week jumping into the new year. We've undoubtedly all taken a moment last week to reflect upon the year and in doing so you might have identified a person who did something pivotal for you in your career, or more importantly with a personal item.
