October is Youth Substance Use Prevention Month, and the need for prevention has never been greater. We know that early intervention is vital for youth. As adolescents' brains develop, every year substance use is delayed reduces the risks of addiction and substance misuse!
The LEO Program is proud to be an evidence-based, interactive substance prevention program. The LEO Program is operated by CW Solutions in partnership with Wood County Human Services and funded through the Brighter Futures Initiative Substance Prevention grant through the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families.

Our community and surrounding fire and police departments are looking for volunteers to act as patients for active shooter trainings. Please share this with those who would be interested. Dates and times are listed in the image.
UPDATE: Looking for 6-8 “victims” that will serve as role-players. Organizers will likely give them a sheet describing the injuries in which EMS will apply some treatment and then extraction of victims. The treatment will include placing a bandage and/or tourniquet. The tourniquet will be loosely placed. No needles or venipunctures but they may be dragged around to simulate moving in a threat environment.
Students or “school age” is preferred but mixing in a couple of adults would provide additional realism as well.
