Local parking passes are now available at City Hall for $15.00! Must be SDWD Resident or Downtown Employee. Metered parking season starts April 1 through September 30. Limited number of passes are available.
-Proof of SDWD residency or downtown employment is required.
-Valid only in parking Lot 3 (N. Oak Street) and Lot 7 (behind Municipal Building).

All sidewalks must be cleared of snow and ice within 48 hours after snow stops. Commercial properties must be cleared within 24 hrs. Please call the Public Works Office with any questions.

The City of Wisconsin Dells is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious LTE Journeyman Lineman to join our team for a limited-term assignment. This position assists in the operation, maintenance, and construction of the City's electrical power distribution and does work necessary to ensure the system operates reliably. Hours are Monday-Friday, 7am to 4pm. This position has the potential to transition into a full-time role based on performance and operational needs. While journeyman linemen are preferred, apprentices that have completed their 9 month school may also be considered for the role. Starting wage is $28.08 - $46.80 DOQ. ***PRESS RELEASE – WISCONSIN RIVER DEATH INVESTIGATION***
At approximately 11:47pm, on Wednesday, September 17th, Police and Rescue units were dispatched to the vicinity of 29 Broadway Avenue, for reports of male who fell over a railing and into the Wisconsin River below.
Kilbourn Fire Department launched a rescue boat shortly after to begin rescue attempts. At approximately 1:20am, the Kilbourn Fire Department was able to recover the male from the river. Unfortunately, the male was deceased.
Based upon surveillance footage from the area, and witness statements, foul play is not suspected. The investigation is ongoing, and the decedent’s name will not be released at this time, pending notification of family.
We were assisted by the Kilbourn Fire Department, Dells/Delton EMS, Lake Delton Police Department, Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, and the Columbia County Medical Examiner’s Office.
