A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for parts of Minnesota and Wisconsin until 11 PM CDT

The SPC has added a slight risk for portions of Minnesota and Wisconsin for later this afternoon into this evening. The main threats will be damaging winds and large hail.

Further south most of the severe potential will occur after dark this evening. No changes to my previous forecast thoughts for this area. See the previous post for details.
