Merced River 4-H

Our Merced River Sheep project members had an exciting and hands-on meeting today! 🐑✨
We kicked things off by learning sheep anatomy—first by identifying key parts on paper, then putting that knowledge to the test on a live sheep. Members also got a glimpse of what to expect in the 2026 sheep project and all the great opportunities ahead.
And the highlight of the day? Meeting a one-day-old baby lamb! It was a great start to the 2025-2026 season.

Sunday afternoon we had our first Archery meeting! After learning about safety and equipment our archers shot 2 rounds! They all did great and we can’t wait for next meeting.
