My gift book “Freedom for Flowers” is featured at Apenberry’s garden store two blocks from Dubsdread Golf Course in College Park. I appreciate all of my many retail partners for my books over the years. 071425 Bastille Day -- 2007 -- The spring 2007 cover of Chart magazine had a Paris theme featuring former Chartist Janet Tombros with her architectural series when Chart still had the Chart art gallery that was a charity fundraiser. I was at the Louvre in the photo. While I’ve traveled extensively, some 18 years later, in Florida where Chart is based, I still discover new arts experiences all over the Sunshine State right here at home. Chart feels lucky to be based in an area filled with quaint creative communities all within easy driving range. Chart continues to bring highly-targeted local readers authentic, unique, all-original, curated content of charity and arts news for over 20 years in Florida. Chart Janet Tombros

CREATIVITY and FREEDOM IS IN MY DNA. In Charlotte, North Carolina, the sermons on freedom by Reverend Alexander Craighead inspired the 1775 Mecklenburg Declaration, the precursor to the 1776 US Declaration of Independence. I am related to him on my mother’s side, and centuries later, I share his passion for freedom and patriotism for America. As we celebrate Independence Day and America’s 249th birthday on July 4, 2025, I am greatly inspired to contribute to a long legacy of creating and preserving our freedoms. We are so blessed to be Americans living in The Land of the Free.
We enjoy freedom to choose approaches to philanthropy and the arts based on our individual desires. Chart charity art magazine showcases an array of innovative philanthropy and creative expression in the 2025-26 annual issue for Palm Beach.
