Should you Rent or Buy a home?

So why not pay for your own? Rents are rising every year!

Some benefits of buying a home:

🔸FORCED SAVINGS - what does that mean? Paying your mortgage every month + appreciation
increases the equity in your home. Money in which you can tap into later on if you ever need it.

🔸TAX BENEFITS - when you own a home, you have potential tax benefits. This saves taxes paid to the government so you can keep more money in your pocket!

🔸 CREDIT - having a mortgage and paying it on time every month is a big deal! This will increase your credit over time. Being that it will be the biggest loan on your credit report, this will demonstrate to other lenders that you are a good borrower and have good history. This will help you secure other loans in the future such as a buying a car, making improvements to your home, etc.

🔸FREEDOM - it’s an awesome feeling knowing something is YOURS. A home is just the same. The ability to customize your place the way YOU want it, not having to worry about pet restrictions/monthly pet fees or having to get approval from a landlord!
