First and foremost I would like to thank Ricky Brooks and the whole SRL National crew for putting on this amazing event at Freedom Factory, the whole weekend they worked with all crews and the drivers to make the best possible show for the fans but also the best possible race for the drivers as well. As for how everything else went this weekend we are extremely grateful for the crew that was present this weekend. We started the weekend with Charley Ayers behind the wheel but he sadly had a little injury Friday night and gave Jeff Côté the opportunity of his life in his eyes, we have personally never worked with Jeff in person since he is usually in Quebec with our great friend and partner Marco Bilodeau but to say we have never seen a more hard working and talented young man would be an understatement with the little bit of an hour of practice with him we made some improvements to the car, and he settled into something that is very foreign to him from a driver’s perspective, we fell short of our original goal to make the 128 but in turn we had a great turnaround and won the Non-Qaulifiers feature with him in his first ever time in a Super Late Model. We hope to get the opportunity to work with him again in the near feature driving a Super.
I would also like to thank Anthony Sergi and the whole Michael Hinde crew for helping us get the car back together with some parts that they lent us.
