Small Essentials, Big Impact: Help Support Local Youth in Our Community

Many young people in Polk County face daily challenges most of us never had to worry about growing up — including access to basic hygiene items. Through Youth for Christ Polk County, caring mentors walk alongside these youth, offering guidance, encouragement, and hope during some of their most formative years.

One simple way our community can make a meaningful difference is by donating everyday hygiene essentials. These items help youth feel confident, cared for, and valued — something every young person deserves.

The good news? Helping is easy and affordable. Most needed items can be purchased at local dollar stores for just $1 to $1.25 each.

Every donated item goes directly to youth who are being mentored through Youth for Christ Polk County, ensuring your generosity stays right here in our local community.
