The Riley Zoo

Well, today was a whole thing….woke up this morning to our AC breaking down in our house. The last time this happened our house reached 98 degrees and we almost lost Sassy and the kittens. Thank God for our beautiful friend Roxie at Reliable Services Group for saving our little zoo today. They showed up and were able to get the part we needed and by the end of the day we were back on!

In the middle of this chaos, Bianca caught a field mouse as a gift and presented it to us. 😩 Less than an hour later I looked up to see the opossum from the other night standing nose to nose with Bagheera who was chilling in the backyard. Why is an opossum trying to move in??? It was during the middle of the day! Matt put it safely back AGAIN over the fence. What a CRAZY day! Next up…who has a trap we can borrow to trap this little guy? We need help relocating him to our nature preserve down the street. Please pm if you can help us. 🙏🏼
