The VITA Tax Program will open for the Amended Tax Filing Season. Please keep in mind the below information:

Schedule an appointment. There will be no walk-ins for tax services during this time. For more information or to schedule an appointment, please call (336) 722-9400 – Ext. 157.

Notify the agent of your tax situation and/or years you need prepared. Each situation is different. Results may vary and we may not be able to resolve all of your tax issues here at this site.

Bring hard-copies of your previous tax return(s) if you are seeking an amendment. This is vitally important as we do not have access to any tax information prepared by another provider.

Bring your valid ID and social security card. These are necessary to complete any tax return.

Bring your bank information for direct deposit of your refund. If you are due a refund as a result of your tax return, this information is needed for direct deposit and e-filing the return.

Bring all hard-copies of any W2’s, 1099’s, tax statements, etc. These documents must be printed out. This information is needed to prepare the return.

We cannot accept documents from your email or cell phone. This information must be printed and in hand before you arrive for your appointment.
