A shoutout to the maintenance crew at Forsyth Tech. Graciously taking time out of their free time to make us hole punchers for yard flags for when we have our events. We don’t like to admit it, but us older and physically restrained (disabled) veterans will take any help we can get and now no more bending over struggling to put a flag in the ground. It’s the little things 😁.

Today, we pause to honor the courageous service members who are currently deployed, safeguarding our freedoms far from home. Your bravery and dedication are the bedrock of our safety and security.

To those deployed, we say: your sacrifices do not go unnoticed. To their families, we offer our heartfelt appreciation for your strength and support during these challenging times.

Though it says today is the last day, there really is no last day for this. Even if it’s just saying hi, it very well may be the “hi” they need
