The 2026 The Winston-Salem Foundation Community Gathering at the Benton Convention Center was an evening centered on Poetry, Place, and Possibility.

The night featured a powerful keynote from Ada Limón, 24th Poet Laureate of the United States, whose work continues to remind us of the role storytelling plays in connection, resilience, and care for community.

We also experienced a newly commissioned poem from our friend and collaborator Jacinta White, spent time engaging with an interactive creative station hosted by Sawtooth School for Visual Art, and explored a thoughtful book selection from our friends Bookmarks.

Grateful to be part of a gathering that brings together community leaders, creatives, and organizations in meaningful conversation about the places we call home.

For nearly 20 years, Piedmont Environmental Alliance has been a driving force for sustainability, education, and community impact across the Piedmont. We’re proud to be a PEA Green Business and to support the expansion of their impact by partnering with them on a refreshed visual identity. Their new logo honors their grassroots beginnings while capturing the scale, energy, and momentum of their mission today.
