Power of youth voice! Students from North Bay Met Academy advocated for their Big Picture Learning pilot program to be permanently adopted, and it unanimously passed last night! We’re proud to have been part of the team supporting them. Such an awesome moment for this community.

What has Focus Local been up to lately?
One important project has been providing support to schools in the Big Picture Learning network. We're working with alternative education programs to develop, implement and support real-world learning through internship programs in Northern California. Check out some of the amazing things that are happening throughout the country and beyond.
